Job description
We are looking for an AI Content Systems Lead to design, build, and activate an enterprise HR Learning content system on the Microsoft stack.
This is not a content creation role. This is a system-builder and execution-leader role.
We are sourcing a senior system builder who leads execution, not an advisory strategist. This role is about building, running, and proving a capability, then defining what it takes to sustain it.
You will:
- Build the content system
- Lead execution of the content squad during activation
- Prove what long-term capability is required to sustain it
Success is measured by delivery, enforceability, and operational clarity-not by strategy decks or content volume.
Role Purpose
Design, operationalize, and validate a content systems model that enables AI to reliably retrieve, route, and trust content in the flow of work, while owning execution during activation and defining the long-term operating model required to sustain the capability.
Core Responsibilities1. System Design & Activation
- Define enforceable enterprise content standards for federated teams
- Establish what "AI-ready content" means at a system level
- Define and implement metadata models that support AI retrieval and trust
- Design and test content lifecycle and governance models
- Partner with product, platform, and AI teams to validate feasibility
- Content Squad Execution (Non-Negotiable)
- Own and lead day-to-day execution of the content squad
- Own the backlog, sequencing, and delivery cadence
- Run execution ceremonies and track delivery in systems (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Drive delivery against timelines and surface risks early
- Act as the single execution owner during activation
- Ensure delivery does not depend on Experience Design
- Long-Term Capability Definition
- Identify execution friction and root causes
- Define future ownership, roles, and resourcing
- Produce system-ready artifacts and a validated operating model, * AI systems can reliably retrieve and trust content
- Content standards and governance are tested through execution
- Leadership has clear, evidence-based recommendations for:
- Where this capability should live
- What roles are required
- What ongoing investment is needed
Engagement Outcome
By the end of the engagement, you will deliver:
- Operational content standards and governance
- A validated AI-ready content systems model
- Execution-tested proof of how this capability runs
- A clear recommendation for long-term ownership and resourcing
Requirements
Do you have experience in Azure?, * Designing enterprise-scale content or knowledge systems
- Leading execution in ambiguous, cross-functional environments
- Owning backlogs and delivery within product or platform teams
- Defining enforceable standards and governance
- Working closely with engineering and product teams
- Exposure to AI-enabled search, retrieval, or recommendation systems
- Translating discovery work into operational capabilities
Benefits & conditions
- Attractive salary
- Large freedom and real influence
