Job description

We are looking for a medical product-oriented UI Designer who can transform existing functional software into a premium, clear, and clinical experience., * Create modern, clean and consistent interfaces aligned with Diagnoly's visual identity.

  • Build or refine the design system (typography, colors, components, iconography).
  • Ensure visual quality and consistency across all screens.
  • Revise and improve the app's interface on tablets
  • Create a premium design system: Typography, Components, Colors, Buttons, cards, forms, dashboards
  • Improve readability, consistency, and visual hierarchy
  • Transform existing screens into modern, user-friendly interfaces

UX Design - Mobile App

  • Work closely with the R&D team to guarantee accurate implementation of designs.
  • Build useful scenarios for prototype
  • Contribute to the overall product vision and challenge ergonomic choices.
  • Participate in workshops to understand user needs (healthcare professionals, patients, researchers).
  • Produce personas, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Design smooth and accessible user journeys tailored to tablet use.
  • Analyze user feedback to continuously improve the interface thanks to user interviews (doctors, sonographers, midwives)

Web Design

  • Participate in the visual redesign of the Diagnoly website
  • Create blocks, visual sections, and web UI components
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure brand and product consistency

Requirements

Do you have experience in UX?, The ideal candidate has strong UX skills to understand user needs, observe workflows, and improve existing user journeys., * Minimum 3 years of experience as a UI Designer, ideally on tablet applications.

  • Proficiency with creation and design tools (Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop…).
  • Strong sensitivity to usability, accessibility and design systems.
  • Creativity, curiosity, autonomy and attention to details.
  • UX concepts (interviews, understanding workflows)
  • Ability to listen to users, even in a medical context
  • Ability to organize work, document decisions and present design choices.

Nice to have

  • Highly adaptable
  • Experience in healthcare environments is a plus
  • Fluent in French and English

About the company

DIAGNOLY is a DeepTech start-up headquartered in Lyon, France. Our aim is to improve fetal screening and simplify obstetric ultrasound scanning for the doctor. To do so, we are developing an intelligent medical software device that connects to ultrasound machines. Analyzing the fetal examination in real time, our product helps doctors to detect the most complex fetal pathologies prenatally. Increasing significantly prenatal detection rate of fetal pathologies, our product will reduce the risk of lifelong disabilities, handicap or lethal outcomes for concerned babies.
