Job description

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for problem-solving and technical excellence? Join Clarke Energy as a Product Support Engineer and play a vital role in delivering expert technical support to our Service Department, ensuring the reliability and performance of our Jenbacher product range.

About the Role

Your mission is to provide high-quality technical support and root cause analysis for product issues, ensuring accurate reporting and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with the Service Department, attending sites when required, and using data-driven insights to deliver best practice solutions., Technical Support & Analysis

  • Provide technical support to the Service Department under the supervision of the Product Support Manager.
  • Investigate product issues using best engineering practice and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Utilise service tools such as MyPlant, Salesforce, Power BI, and Jenbacher Dashboard for data collection and analysis.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and accurate engineering reports.
  • Support warranty and concession cases through to completion.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practice

  • Recommend proactive maintenance strategies and improvements to service processes.
  • Analyse and communicate Jenbacher fleet programmes.
  • Maintain and manage the Service Bulletin library.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Technical support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Technical Skills

  • Engineering qualification(s), preferably mechanical bias.
  • Strong knowledge of good engineering practice and root cause analysis.
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with Innio Jenbacher products.
  • Advanced IT skills, including Excel, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Navision.
  • Excellent report writing and data analysis skills.

  • Able to work to tight deadlines and travel at short notice, including overseas.

  • Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Clean UK driving licence (Category B).

Desirable

  • BEng (Hons) degree.
  • Experience in a similar technical support role.
  • Strong customer relationship experience.
