Honda R&D Europe (Deutschland) GmbH in Offenbach is a renowned research and development center focused on automotive innovation. The HMI section plays a pivotal role in designing and developing new interfaces that enhance the interaction between drivers, passengers, and vehicles. As an intern/working student in this section, you will support the development of user interfaces for Honda vehicle concepts and prototypes. It's your chance to play a role in shaping the future of automotive experience.
Requirements
- Support simulator and real vehicle prototyping with Android Auto
- Develop Android HMI prototypes
- Develop interfaces to Unity applications through Android
- Research on Android Automotive development
Benefits & conditions
- Currently enrolled as a student in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other relevant studies
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required
- Familiarity with tools like Android Studio and Kotlin or similar App development tooling
- A solid grasp of key principles and methodologies in Android development. This includes an understanding of the Android SDK, lifecycle management, UI components, and best practices for building responsive and maintainable applications
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities are vital for collaborating effectively with our team
