Cloud Solutions Architect (Madrid - Hybrid)

Overview Cloud Solutions Architect (Madrid - Hybrid). The selected candidate will be hired as an internal, permanent employee based in Madrid, providing services to a global organization. Responsibilities * Design reference architectures for Cloud Services capabilities and for business requirements. * Guide Cloud Engineering Team in foundational implementation and automation tasks. * Build and maintain the adoption landing zone in line with governance requirements. * Gather business requirements and design solutions for product teams aligned with cloud strategy. * Provide technical leadership throughout the solution design, development, and deployment lifecycle. * Collaborate with product teams across the full product lifecycle. * Conduct Web Application Firewall (WAF) reviews and workshops. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with IT strategy, standards, and best practices. * Conduct proofs-of-concept, pilots, and prototypes to validate feasibility and

effectiveness. * Develop comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational manuals. * Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer to operations and development teams. * Stay current with Azure services and industry trends, sharing expertise with the team. * Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly. Working Experience & Tech Skills * 5+ years as a Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. * Extensive knowledge of Azure services (computing, storage, networking, security, data). * Proven ability to design and implement highly available, scalable, secure Azure-based solutions. * Hands-on experience with ARM templates, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Python. * Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns, the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, and the Azure Well-Architected Framework. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams. * Experience working with international teams. Education and Training * Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field. Certifications * Certifications in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer) are highly desirable. Languages * Spanish: Very good business Spanish required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level. * English: Very good business English required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level. Job Conditions * Job location: Tres Cantos (Madrid).
