Job description
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will serve as the critical bridge between Developers, Business, and Operations.
You aren't just "operating" a platform; you are architecting the foundational multi-cloud infrastructure that enables our next generation of AI-driven applications.
We are looking for a hands-on expert who treats infrastructure as code (IaC) and is passionate about automating everything from the ground up.
"Let's Achieve Great Outcomes. TD SYNNEX is the partner that helps unlock business results for all.", * Technical Architect & Automate: Design and deploy scalable, resilient multi-cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) using a "Security and Automation First" mindset.
- IaC Leadership: Create, maintain, and refactor complex Terraform modules from scratch, ensuring a DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) approach across various landscapes.
- Configuration Excellence: Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections to automate zero-downtime application deployments and OS-level configurations.
- AI Infrastructure Adoption: Enable the business to leverage AI by managing and scaling cognitive services like Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and GCP Vertex AI.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Translate high-level business requirements into technical blueprints. You will challenge assumptions and ensure technical solutions meet the "true" underlying business needs.
- CI/CD Integration: Build and maintain robust delivery pipelines in Azure DevOps for both infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
- 3+ Years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in English required., * Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in Azure and GCP or AWS (GCP is a plus).
- AI/ML Ops: Experience managing cognitive service environments (e.g., Azure Foundry, Bedrock, Vertex AI).
- Sys Engineering: Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu) and experience managing Windows Hosts via automation.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation
- Terraform: Mastery of Terraform data structures, functions, workspaces, and module registries.
- Ansible: Expert-level ability to create playbooks and dynamic inventories. Experience with Ansible Tower or RedHat Satellite is highly preferred.
- Scripting: Fluency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for custom automation tasks.
DevOps & Delivery
- CI/CD: Proficiency with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Boards, Repos).
- Version Control: Advanced Git skills (branching strategies, code reviews, and lifecycle management).
- Agile: Experience working in a sprint-based environment, breaking down complex infrastructure projects into modular tasks.
Soft Skills & Qualifications
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to decompose high-level information into technical details and reconcile conflicting requirements from multiple sources.
- Communication: Proactive collaborator who can present high-level architecture to stakeholders and detailed design docs to engineers.
- Independence: Capable of driving initiatives autonomously while staying aligned with Product Owner goals.
Other Education/Certifications:
- Azure; Google Cloud Administrator desired.
