Job description

This global role will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting our Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services for all our offices worldwide. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in Azure services with experience in supporting hybrid and cloud-native infrastructures., * Azure Administration: Manage and maintain our Microsoft Azure tenant, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of cloud resources.

  • Global Support: Provide cloud-related expertise and support to IT teams and business users across all global offices.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor Azure security controls, policies, and compliance frameworks, including conditional access, identity protection, and data governance.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Use tools such as ARM templates or Terraform to deploy and manage Azure resources.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell or Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Migration experience from on-premises to the cloud.
  • Networking & Integration: Configure and support Azure networking, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, and integration with on-premises systems.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor cloud resources, optimize costs, and improve performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management.
  • Disaster Recovery & Backup: Support business continuity strategies with Azure Site Recovery, Backup, and related services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with global IT teams to align Azure services with business requirements and ensure consistent standards across the organization.
  • Innovation & Adoption: Stay current with Microsoft Azure updates, propose new cloud solutions, and help drive adoption of modern cloud services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or similar level of education

  • Experience: At least 5 years of IT experience, with 3+ years focused on Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Azure administration, identity management, and networking.

  • Knowledge of Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, and hybrid identity.

  • Experience with Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and PaaS services

  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus, * Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex hybrid cloud environments.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.

  • Language: Fluent in English (Spanish is an advantage).

  • Sense of responsibility and initiative;

  • Ability to work autonomously;

  • Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement and innovative thinking both in approach and in practical effect;

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures; respect for diversity;

  • Good IT skills; proficiency in Windows environment is expected;

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and French is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.

  • EU citizen or holder of a valid work permit in Spain

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
