Job description
As a Customization Tester at Ubisoft, you'll validate all downloadable content and customization elements within our titles, including post-launch items such as season passes, content packs, skins, and weapons.
Your testing responsibilities encompass verifying the technical integrity of 3D models, skins, and materials applied in-game, while ensuring content can be properly purchased, displays as designed, and functions correctly across all gameplay levels.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional team members-including developers, testers, designers, artists, directors, and programmers-to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
Your work directly contributes to delivering not just a playable game, but an enjoyable player experience when content launches to market.
Main Responsibilities:
- Verify and test 3D art assets in-engine and in-game to ensure proper display, texture resolution, UV mapping, and geometry integrity
- Create, prioritize, and track art-related bugs using tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, Xray) and coordinate fixes with developers
- Produce documentation for art QA processes and collaborate with development teams to share knowledge and resolve issues
Requirements

2+ years in QA, quality control, or testing with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Digital art background with understanding of game development processes and passion for video games

Proficiency in QA methodologies, Windows OS (Win 10), and gaming consoles (Xbox, PlayStation)

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills Nice to Have:

Experience with art tools (3ds Max, ZBrush, Blender, Substance) and game engines/editors
