Job description

We are looking for a Product Engineer to be involved throughout the entire microelectronics manufacturing process. The selected candidate will be based in Zamudio, Bizkaia, and will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage.

Participate in the team that develops and maintains the Wind Turbines Converter Controllers and Solar Inverter Controllers and other electronic devices for wind turbines and solar inverters. Main activities

  • Check "Design for manufacturing" requirements.
  • Definition of manufacturing and new electronic components test requirements.
  • Manufacturing process control and manufacturing statistics analysis and management.
  • Electronics Industrialization support.
  • Electronics manufacturing support.
  • Electronics repair support.

Main functions

  • Define and upload to data bases the Product Bill Of Materials BOM for the Electronics and their Enclosure.
  • Define Manufacturing Process Control Specifications and Manufacturing Tools & Columns specifications.
  • Verify Manufacturing Process and Manufacturing Tools & Columns.
  • Analyze Manufacturing Process and Manufacturing Tools & Columns incidences.
  • Periodical analysis reporting of Manufacturing Process and Manufacturing Tools & Columns incidences based in Manufacturing statistics.
  • Periodical contact to Manufacturers.
  • Support to Repairing Office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Telecom, Computer, Industrial, Electronics, Automatics or similar) or assimilable education.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a job like the one described.
  • English level B1 or B2.
  • Organized, proactive person with the ability to communicate effectively with different departments and clients. Must be assertive, able to handle difficult situations, differing opinions, or problems that may arise in each project. A proactive attitude and strong communication skills are valued.
  • Knowledge of Altium Designer, programming skills in C, C++, and Python, electronic HW simulation SW (LT Spice) is positively valued. Experience with Agile methodologies will be considered a plus.
