In this role you will : The IT Project Manager is responsible for driving all the aspects of the projects assigned, including collaboration and coordination across multiple IT and business teams, leading delivery teams and expediting issue resolution as well as risk mitigation plans to ensure successful achievement of implementation phases with WebBeds booking platforms & connected systems that may be impacted. As member of PMO team the IT Project Manager will be leading and motivating all delivery team members involved in set programs, to ensure quality into deliveries and drive time focus goals, tracking progress and communicating with all teams involved in the project including senior management across the organization. Key responsibilities Analyzing, planning, and developing scheduled projects. Holding regular technical team meetings to help address any questions or challenges regarding projects. Updating and maintaining track of project progress. Reporting and communicating status of project. Managing risks and issues identified to ensure successful delivery of the project on time. Drive all aspects of the Project Management role including collaboration and coordination across multiple IT and business segments, working with Presales for RFP responses and building offers, and constantly communicating with upper management. Motivates delivery team members, drives precision and quality into deliveries. Orchestrates launches that comprise project deliverables as well as production issue fixes, which may occur outside regular business hours. Leads delivery teams during post-launch phases for expedited issue resolution. Actively maps, studies, and addresses risks and issues by elaborating a mitigation/response plan while proactively tracking its execution. Create and deliver professional presentations on project kick-offs, phase gates, status reports, etc. Tracks budget and resource utilization across while managing third party relationships (procurement) in the successful achievement of project/program delivery. Technically biased, engages with engineering in technical discussions with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and System Engineers facilitating/driving issue resolution and removing cross-functional impediments to keep the team focused on delivery. Mentors junior colleagues and helps to find pathways
Requirements
to difficult situations occurring in other projects. Plays the business analyst role when needed, helping with the requirements elicitation and documentation. The skills we would love to see in your suitcase! Excellent experience in delivering large scale Technology projects. Have at least 3 years IT project management experience managing different stakeholders including business process owners, external vendors, & support teams. Have at least 3 years in IT operations management experience ensuring the smooth running of IT systems and infrastructure. Experience within travel, specifically B2B travel and working on projects across ancillary services would be a distinct advantage. Experienced in solution implementation Resourceful, creative, takes initiative and responsible. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
