Requirements

For our customer, a major Spanish Financial Services organisation we are looking for a Oracle DBA/ Engineer for a 12 month freelance contract Madrid Based Remote/ Spain based possible Architecture & Design: Exadata capacity planning; HA with RAC; DR with (Active) Data Guard; Backup/restore via RMAN; Leverage Smart Scan, HCC, IORM. Upgrades/migrations (Data Guard); Tuning with AWR/ASH and SQL; I/O optimization; Capacity management; incident/change per ITIL; Security & Compliance: Qualifications 7+ years Oracle DBA/Engineering, 3+ years with Exadata; Deep expertise: RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning; Hands-on with Exadata X?Series, Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, HCC; patch/lifecycle management; Strong Linux administration; HA/DR design and exercises; OEM/monitoring proficiency. Excellent English; Strong communication skills
