Job description

to lead and evolve the company's IT operations and infrastructure, supporting around 150 highly skilled engineers working on advanced semiconductor development. What you'll do IT Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small, highly skilled IT team.
  • Define and execute the IT roadmap aligned with business and engineering needs.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, and procurement.
  • Own internal tools and business-critical applications.
  • Act as the main liaison between engineering, operations, and management.
  • Coordinate and support corporate website and internal systems development.

Infrastructure & HPC Operations

  • Own and scale a hybrid infrastructure including:
  • On-premise and colocation HPC clusters running EDA workloads.
  • Cloud platforms used for compute-intensive engineering tasks.
  • Operate a Rocky Linux / RHEL-based compute farm orchestrated with SLURM.
  • Design, operate, and scale distributed storage systems (e.g. Ceph).
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security across compute, storage, and networking.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery strategies.
  • Drive infrastructure automation using Ansible, Python, and Bash.

Engineering Enablement

  • Work closely with silicon design and verification teams to optimize workflows.
  • Operate and scale self-hosted GitLab and GitLab CI / CD.
  • Manage EDA tool licensing, deployment, and integrations.
  • Support custom Python-based engineering tools and internal platforms.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve productivity and reliability.

IT Operations & Security

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations and user support.
  • Manage user devices, networking, and core services (DNS, DHCP, NFS, etc.).
  • Own authentication and identity systems (FreeIPA, Keycloak, OAuth2).
  • Define and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security, data protection, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or Senior Systems Engineer, preferably in semiconductor, EDA, or HPC environments.
  • Deep expertise with RHEL-based Linux systems (Rocky Linux, RHEL, CentOS).
  • Strong experience with distributed storage systems (e.g. Ceph).
  • Hands-on experience running self-hosted GitLab and CI / CD runner fleets.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash).
  • Experience with Ansible and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Solid understanding of core networking services and protocols.
  • Ability to lead technical projects and manage a small team.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

English level : C1 or higher. Nice to have

  • Experience with HPC workload managers (SLURM, LSF, SGE).
  • Familiarity with EDA toolchains (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens).
  • Experience with Mikrotik and UniFi networking equipment.
  • Experience managing hybrid on-premise and cloud infrastructures.
  • Strong background in IT security best practices.
