Senior Software Engineer Energy Platform

Allego is seeking a Software Engineer to help with developing an in-house platform that gathers real-time production data from renewable energy plants, makes accurate forecasts for energy output, and trades surplus energy on the European market. As a software engineer you will:

work closely with the operations team to co-define needs and shape requirements together; keep our platform secure and up-to-date with the latest best practices; design the technical architecture for new solutions; develop these solutions.

You have more than 5 years experience in Python, but being highly skilled in C++ or Rust could also work; You are familiar with MySQL; You have experience with the Linux environment; You are able to visit our office in Paris once a week; You take ownership of your work, you do not only design and create, you also test; You are fluent in English and French.
