Job description

On behalf of my client, I am looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to design, build, deploy, and support high-quality data and analytics solutions that enable their business to unlock the full value of data as a strategic asset. You will work closely with IT and Business teams located in the USA, to deliver scalable, secure, and fully performing data solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.

Requirements

You will be a technically strong data engineer who enjoys problem-solving, influencing strategy, and continuously improving data platforms and processes. Technical Skills & Experience required:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Python and/or R.
  • Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, SSIS, etc.
  • Strong experience with BI and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, QuickSight, Business Objects, LOGI).
  • Experience with data pipelines, AWS, DevOps, Snowflake would be preferred.
  • Any experience with Dataiku is highly advantageous.
  • Web application development experience would be beneficial.
  • Proven ability to lead, drive, and deliver data-informed product strategies as part of a team or as an individual contributor.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse, interpret, and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data protection, privacy, and security best practices.
