IT Desktop and Infrastructure Support Engineer

• Configure, deploy, and support macOS devices through Microsoft Intune, ensuring compliance policies are applied and maintained.
• Monitor endpoint security posture and respond to non-compliance alerts in line with Cyber Essentials standards.
• Carry out regular server maintenance tasks including operating system updates, patch management, data backups, and basic network monitoring.
• Respond to internal support requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate asset records and control inventory in line with company procedures.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to system security, reliability, and efficiency.
• Work closely with senior staff to keep systems aligned with evolving compliance requirements.

Do you have experience in Network management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Candidates are to have skills in the following areas:

• macOS Management with Microsoft Intune. Deploy, configure, and manage macOS endpoints using Intune, including device enrolment, profile configuration, app deployment, and policy enforcement.
• Endpoint Security & Compliance. Implement and maintain security controls, configuration baselines, and compliance policies to ensure systems meet and maintain Cyber Essentials certification requirements at all times.
• Scripting & Automation. Create and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) to streamline device management tasks, enforce compliance, and improve operational efficiency.
• Asset & Lifecycle Management. Administer the full lifecycle of IT assets (particularly macOS hardware), covering provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and secure disposal.
• IT Operations. Support the reliable operation of endpoint devices, networks, and associated systems, identifying and resolving issues quickly to minimise downtime., * Bachelor's (preferred), * IT: 3 years (preferred), * Bachelor's (preferred)
