Job description

  • Provide 2nd line support for data and analytics services, investigating and resolving incidents and service requests
  • Diagnose issues across AWS-hosted platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tooling
  • Use SQL (Redshift) to support investigations and respond to data-related queries
  • Support users working in R, including troubleshooting code and environment issues
  • Manage and update tickets via ServiceNow, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution
  • Create and maintain documentation in Confluence
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and platform teams to resolve complex issues
  • Maintain high standards of diligence, accuracy, and auditability

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an L2/Application Support/Platform Support role
  • Strong exposure to AWS, including:
  • AWS Workspaces
  • AWS Redshift
  • SageMaker
  • Hands-on experience with R (primary language)
  • Strong SQL capability
  • Experience using GitHub
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and Confluence

Desirable

  • Exposure to Posit/RStudio environments
  • Experience with Dataverse or similar data platforms
  • Background supporting data or analytics teams in regulated environments
