Job description
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support a short, agile engagement focused on cyber data readiness, high-value use cases, and proof-of-concept insights to inform investment and MVP decisions.
You'll work hands-on with priority cyber datasets (or suitable substitutes where access is constrained) to produce decision-ready analysis and visualisations that clearly communicate value, confidence, and limitations.
Rate: Up to £500/day Outside IR35
Location: Remote
Clearance: Active SC Clearance (essential)
Contract: 3 months (+ extensions) What you'll do
- Explore and profile priority datasets, identifying quality issues, gaps, and join limitations
- Build PoC dashboards and visualisations aligned to key decision questions
- Create clear insight narratives explaining what the data shows, why it matters, and any caveats
- Apply confidence or reliability indicators to highlight data limitations
- Document assumptions, data constraints, and remediation opportunities
- Work closely with the Data Architect and cyber SMEs to ensure insights are credible and meaningful
- Contribute analytics user stories, dependencies, and increments to the MVP backlog

- Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Structured approach to documentation and assumptions
- Exposure to mixed cloud/platform environments (eg Microsoft and Google)
