Service Architect

We are looking for an experienced Service Architect to join a growing digital and IT consultancy delivering complex transformation programmes for large, regulated organisations across the UK. This role plays a critical part in shaping, designing and assuring end-to-end service models, ensuring services are operationally viable, resilient, secure and aligned to strategic and user needs. The Role You will work within blended delivery teams, collaborating with senior client stakeholders, architects and delivery leads. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and documenting end-to-end service models across people, process, data, technology and suppliers
• Leading the development of service blueprints, service catalogues, interface definitions and operational runbooks
• Providing service design governance and assurance in collaboration with Technical Design Authorities
• Producing and assuring service design artefacts in line with agreed standards, policies, security controls and accessibility requirements
• Supporting governance boards with service assurance, dependency management and risk mitigation
• Managing technical and supplier interdependencies to ensure smooth transitions of contracts, data, infrastructure and support models
• Driving architectural alignment across workstreams, identifying cross-cutting risks, constraints and dependencies
• Coaching client teams on service operating models, governance frameworks and service integration to support long-term capability uplift

• Proven experience designing services in public sector or highly regulated enviro
• Strong knowledge of service integration, sourcing strategies and enterprise plat
• Familiarity with public sector digital standards and governance

• Strong knowledge of service integration, sourcing strategies and enterprise platforms
• Familiarity with public sector digital standards and governance (eg GDS, TCoP)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• SC clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance

Desirable Experience

• Working knowledge of ServiceNow (CMDB, ITSM, APM)
• Experience with Azure-based infrastructure
• Background supporting large-scale transformation, merger or acquisition programmes, particularly within government
