What the role involves:
You will be joining the Technical Services team and take pride in delivering high-quality IT support with integrity. In this role, you'll manage and implement a variety of IT tickets - involving end user devices, physical and virtual servers, cloud infrastructure, firewalls, networking, security solutions, and participate in system migrations - for a diverse client base both remotely and on-site.
You'll also act as a trusted technical advisor, at times providing pre-sales support to Client Relationship Managers as well and serving as an escalation point for Junior IT Support Engineers.

This opportunity is perfect for a skilled and motivated 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, looking for a fresh new challenge.
You'll be working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, supporting and delivering Microsoft cloud, server, and desktop solutions alongside a highly experienced technical team.
What we need from you:
- You will need a minimum of 1 years' experience leading delivery of IT Projects / providing support delivery preferably for a managed service provider
- Be enthusiastic, professional, customer-orientated individual from a complex IT multi-site background, preferably an MSP with RMM and ticketing tools
- Experience in dealing with third party-provided services or vendors e.g. internet service providers, software vendors
- Participate in out of hours rota
- Hold a current UK Driving Licence
You must be able to confidently perform the following tasks:
- Install, configure, operate and troubleshoot Microsoft Desktop Operating systems
- Perform tenant configuration and complete active user, share and device configuration on the Microsoft 365 platform including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Endpoint
- Provision, configure, operate and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure servers and virtual infrastructure
- Install, configure, operate and troubleshoot an antivirus product, preferably ESET, Webroot, Microsoft Defender
- Install, configure, operate and troubleshoot a backup product, preferably Arcserve (previously StorageCraft) SPX, Datto, Arcserve cloud services, Azure Backup
- Install, configure, operate and troubleshoot Windows Server Operating Systems
- Troubleshoot HyperVisors e.g. Microsoft Hyper-V and familiarity with virtualisation concepts
- Complete basic firewall setup from out of the box and troubleshoot firewall rules and polices
- An appreciation of the zero trust and least privilege security models / principles, * IT Projects/Support delivery : 1 year (required)

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Hours: Working full time, 37.5 hours per week. Core operational hours are 8am - 6pm. With some out of hours working on a rota., * Holiday 25 days pus Bank Holidays
