Software Engineer

An established organisation in the industrial space is expanding its digital and engineering team. As part of its ongoing modernisation and investment in cloud-based platforms, they're looking for a Software Engineer to strengthen its internal development team. The environment is stable, technology-focused, and centred on long-term product evolution and operational excellence.

You will contribute to the maintenance, enhancement, and development of the company's core software platforms. The role combines hands-on feature development with system upkeep, as well as implementing and optimising Azure-based integrations to support the business's broader digital roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing .NET codebases.
• Develop new platform features in collaboration with product and operational teams.
• Integrate and optimise services within the Azure cloud environment.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Support the reliability, performance, and evolution of internal applications used across manufacturing operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.

• Strong proficiency in .NET development.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, debugging, and testing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and integrations.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or operational software environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, APIs, or cloud-based architecture patterns.
