Network Engineer

A large Belgian organisation with a strong societal impact is looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to reinforce its IT infrastructure team. You will work in a complex, distributed environment supporting a central headquarters and numerous external sites. This role combines hands-on technical expertise, system reliability and mentoring within a mission-driven organisation., * Implement, maintain and manage network and infrastructure environments across multiple locations.

• Monitor system performance, ensure stability and participate in 24/7 on-call duty.
• Support helpdesk teams and end users with complex technical issues.
• Propose, document and communicate technical solutions to support the evolution of the IT landscape.

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience.

• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 environments, Windows Server 2019/2022, LAN/WAN networking and Linux.
• Experience with virtualisation, databases and Office 365; Aruba switching and Docker are assets.
• Autonomous, proactive team player with strong communication skills and good technical English (passive knowledge of Dutch).
