Technology Specialist

Application & Product development

• Develop and optimize food applications using fava protein across key product categories (meat alternatives, bakery, dairy alternatives, etc.).
• Plan and execute lab and pilot trials to validate product functionality and performance.
• Monitor and analyze application results, identifying opportunities for functional or process improvements.

Reporting

• Record, analyze, and structure test results in clear, accurate data reports.
• Translate technical findings into concise, understandable information for Meelunie's commercial department, enabling commerce to confidently communicate product performance and value to customers.
• Maintain consistent documentation of experimental methods, formulation changes, and results to support internal decision-making.

Customer & Commercial Support

• Translate customer requirements into practical, scalable application solutions.
• Provide technical support (i.e. share application insights, test data) to Meelunie's commercial teams and support customer projects with demonstrations, sample evaluations, and technical presentations.

Innovation & Collaboration

• Coordinate joint development projects focused on new grades, functional improvements, or process optimization.
• Work closely with Meelunie's technical and commercial teams to ensure alignment between lab outcomes and commercial needs.

Do you have experience in Food industry?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Proficiency in English, spoken and written, is essential. Dutch and other languages are preferred.

• BSc+ /hands on MSc in Food Science, Food Technology, or similar.

• Several years of experience in the food industry in a technically oriented role.

• Hands-on, results-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.

• The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and to organize and prioritize own work.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate internally and externally.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team.

• Creative, decisive, practical, and resilient under pressure.
