Job description

On behalf of a client in our partner network, we are looking for a Product Strategy Manager., As Product Strategy Manager, you will work alongside the CPO to develop the strategic frameworks that guide where the product goes next. You will evaluate new vertical opportunities, inform build versus buy decisions, translate market and customer insight into product direction, and ensure the roadmap is grounded in a coherent view of where the company can win. This is not a product management role. It is a strategy role embedded in product, for someone who wants to shape the agenda rather than execute it., * Develop and maintain the company's product strategy framework, ensuring it reflects a clear view of market opportunity, competitive dynamics, and internal capability.

  • Lead evaluations of new vertical or geographic expansion opportunities, including market sizing, competitive mapping, and strategic recommendations.
  • Work closely with the CPO, product managers, and commercial leadership to ensure product direction is aligned with customer needs and commercial priorities.
  • Conduct build versus buy versus partner analysis for new product capabilities, including vendor assessments and partnership business cases.
  • Translate customer research, sales feedback, and market intelligence into product strategic priorities and roadmap inputs.
  • Prepare and present product strategy materials for board meetings, investor updates, and internal leadership reviews.
  • Define and track the strategic metrics that indicate whether the product is moving in the right direction.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Communication skills?, * 6+ years of experience in management consulting, product strategy, or a senior strategy function within a technology business.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise software markets, ideally with exposure to AI, automation, or data-driven products.
  • Exceptional structured thinking; able to evaluate complex, multi-variable problems and produce clear strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; trusted to represent the CPO's strategic thinking internally and externally.
  • Comfortable operating in an environment where the function is being built from scratch, which requires both rigour and pragmatism in equal measure.
  • Financially literate, with experience building market sizing models, business cases, and ROI frameworks.
  • Genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping enterprise workflows and what it means for product strategy.

Benefits & conditions

  • Base salary of £95,000 - £120,000, determined based on experience and scope.

Our client is an enterprise AI startup headquartered in London, building intelligent process automation tools for financial services and legal sector clients. They are Series B-backed, with a strong customer base, an expanding product surface, and a CPO who is building the strategic capability to match the company's commercial ambition. Product strategy is a new function at this company, and the person who takes this role will define what it looks like.
