Job description
We are seeking a Head of Infrastructure and Cloud to be responsible for the operational management and strategic development of the University's critical IT systems, cloud environments and network infrastructure. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role and you will identify opportunities for improvement, lead key initiatives and play a central role in delivering strategic IT projects.
You will provide expertise across Infrastructure and Cloud technologies, and have oversight of core infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise networks, collaboration technologies, and end-user computing. You will also ensure these services are robust, secure, high-performing, and aligned with the University's strategic objectives.
Requirements
To be successful, you will have a background in managing and developing people, building capability, inspiring innovation, and driving team success. You will have expertise in designing, managing, and securing Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments and will be capable of leading initiatives end-to-end, integrating technical considerations with user requirements to deliver successful outcomes. In addition, you will be an excellent communicator, able to collaborate with a wide-range of colleagues and stakeholders to support service delivery.
Whilst we offer flexible and hybrid working across the University, you will be required to work on-campus at least 3 days per week.
