Job description

CreditSights is searching for a Fixed income Data Product Owner who will play a crucial role in the development and success of our product offerings. This role involves working closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product management principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with data for exceptional user experience.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Product Development: Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, other product teams, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and reflects the current business priorities.

User Stories: Develop detailed user stories and establish acceptance criteria to ensure stories are ready for development.

Agile Ceremonies: Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Feature Validation: Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria.

Customer Interaction: Discuss features with internal and external customers, focusing on usability, time to value, feature completeness, and the overall user journey.

Data Analysis & Insights: Write and run queries using SQL and other tools to analyze data, validate use cases and product requirements with end users.

Issue Resolution: Handle issues with current features and provide solutions based on customer feedback.

Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics e.g. team productivity, product adoption, feature performance. Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role.

Experience with Fixed Income data and products in financial information services industry, familiarity with data models, databases and data analysis, and experience working with remote teams.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), and data query/analysis systems like SQL.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Customer-Centric: Passion for understanding and addressing customer needs.
