Job description
Execute 1D system simulations for hybrid transmission systems using MATLAB, Simulink, and AMESim.

Develop, validate, and refine simulation models, ensuring correlation with physical test results and regulatory compliance.

Develop and maintain MIL environments to enable early-stage validation of control algorithms.

Perform dynamic/static calculations to evaluate system performance, efficiency, and durability.

Optimize designs through parameter sensitivity studies and advanced numerical methods.

Automate workflows and enhance toolchains using Python or MATLAB for improved efficiency.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate simulation results into product development.

Support physical testing and refine models based on test outcomes.

Document methodologies and establish best practices for future projects.
Requirements
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in 1D system simulation or 3D CFD, ideally within powertrain development.
- Hands-on experience with AMESim and Simulink, including MIL model development.
- Familiarity with additional simulation disciplines (e.g., CFD tools such as Star-CCM+ or Preonlab) is considered a plus.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and communicate technical results clearly.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving skills.
