Job description

Adobe Cloud Platform & Collaboration (ACPC) builds the cloud infrastructure behind Photoshop, Firefly, Express, and other creative tools used by millions every day. We're looking for a working student who wants more than a coding job.

You'll work alongside a Senior Engineering Manager, experiencing what it takes to lead software engineering teams at a global scale. You'll contribute to real decisions, build AI and data tools that improve how we manage our teams, and connect technical skills to the people side of software development.

Requirements

  • Experience engineering management firsthand: from team rituals to strategic planning
  • Build and evaluate AI tools that support leadership and operational tasks
  • Improve data-driven approaches to organizational decisions
  • Contribute your ideas in team meetings where they'll have a real impact
  • Develop both technical and leadership skills with dedicated mentorship, * Studying Computer Science or a related field, with at least one year remaining
  • Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus
  • Hands-on programming experience and familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, MCP)
  • Curious about how great software gets built, not just the code, but the process and the people
  • Available to work from our Hamburg office

Benefits & conditions

  • A role that blends engineering and management
  • 20 hours/week, flexibly arranged around your studies
  • Mentorship from engineering managers, product managers, and engineers
  • Exposure to high-scale cloud systems serving millions of users
  • Team events and connections across Adobe
  • Workplace accommodations so everyone can do their best work
  • Potential pathways to thesis projects or full-time roles after graduation
