Job description

  • Build what is next: You live in our customers' relative future. Push the edge of what is possible with the latest in AI, often without documentation or playbooks.
  • End-to-end ownership: responsibility for your bets from idea to production.
  • Ship fast: You can just ship things, both because you have the permission to and because you are comfortable iterating in public.
  • Always be useful: Act as a hands-on owner, not a manager. In a startup spirit, we don't stop at role boundaries but jump in wherever help is needed most.
  • Ship momentum, not chaos: Turn ambitious visions into executable plans without slowing down the team. Establish lightweight rituals that keep teams aligned without bureaucracy.
  • Connect the dots: Identify dependencies across the business and with external partners before they become blockers.
  • Enable autonomy: Build systems that let individuals ship independently while maintaining minimum viable coherence and mitigating risk., * Collaborative spirit: Open to learning from and co-building with peers inside and outside Shopware.
  • Startup operating system: You've built 0-to-1 products and know how to balance speed with minimum viable process.
  • Influence without authority: You drive outcomes through relationships and credibility, not hierarchy.
  • Allergy to waste: You ruthlessly eliminate meetings, documents, and processes that don't directly accelerate shipping.
  • AI-augmented coordination: You use AI tools to synthesize information, track dependencies, and communicate updates efficiently.
  • Technical depth: You can read code, understand architecture, and have intelligent conversations with senior engineers., * Access to dedicated AI budget, tools, and the freedom to move at startup speed.
  • Company Culture: Open culture with flat hierarchies, where individual initiative is encouraged.
  • Employment Contracts: Permanent positions that offer long-term security.
  • Flexibility: Flexible working hours and options for mobile work and full-remote contracts.
  • Equipment: Freedom to choose your preferred work hardware.
  • Onboarding: Well-structured onboarding with support from a personal "buddy."
  • Work Environment: An inspiring environment with dedicated colleagues and a dynamic community.
  • Development Opportunities: Diverse opportunities for personal growth and development.
  • Additional Benefits: Attractive perks such as company pension plans, health programs, and regular team events.
  • ... and much more!

Requirements

Do you have experience in AI?, * Self-starter DNA: You thrive in ambiguity and love figuring things out without a detailed map.

  • AI native: You default to 10x yourself with AI. You stay at the bleeding edge of emerging model capabilities and are excited about sharing what you've learned with others.
  • Vibe-code fluency: Hands-on experience with modern AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, v0, Lovable, etc.) and comfortable going from concept to clickable demo in a day.
