Job description
You will be incorporated into an agile team that develops high-performance software for deployment on a Kubernetes-based platform. The role involves working within a cloud-native environment deployed on-site, where the candidate will implement and deploy microservices acting as integration layers between the applications and the platform. The team will also contribute to the development and maintenance of the CI/CD system supporting software development teams.
Main tasks will be deployments to the Kubernetes platform will follow GitOps techniques, ensuring reproducible, automated, and traceable operations. Additionally, the candidate will support the definition and deployment of workflows orchestrated with Apache Airflow.
Requirements
We are looking for Computer science engineers with expertise in Cloud technologies and background and interest in Space projects. Main requirements are:
- Kubernetes
- Python/C++
- Continuos Integration and Continuos Deployment/Delivery systems
- Linux
- Docker
We will also value previous experience in:
- GitOps techniques for cloud plataforms (e.g. ArgoCD)
- GitLab CI system
- microservices communications based on gRPC
- message brokers (e.g. Kafka)
- S3 storage
- Apache Airflow
- Observability technologies (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Opentelemetry, etc.)
