Senior DevEx Engineer

At Evri, we're focused on building a world-class engineering environment where teams can deliver faster, safer and with confidence. As a Senior DevEx Engineer, you'll shape the tools, platforms and practices that power how our engineers build, test and release software every day.

This is a remote role with travel into Morley when required.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead improvements across multiple teams, owning parts of the developer platform and driving better tooling, automation and engineering standards. You'll reduce friction in developer workflows, improve reliability in build/test/release pipelines and play a key role in measuring and improving developer productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and delivery of developer tooling and automation across teams.
• Own and maintain key areas of the developer platform for scale and reliability.
• Improve CI/CD, build and release pipelines to reduce cycle time and failures.
• Drive adoption of reusable tools, frameworks and engineering standards.
• Use metrics to identify workflow bottlenecks and deliver targeted improvements.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices for developer experience.

Do you have experience in Software deployment?, * Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, build systems and deployment automation.

• Expertise with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of developer productivity metrics and workflow optimisation.
• Experience with cloud technologies and modern engineering platforms.
• Ability to design scalable developer tools and debug build/test/release issues.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to influence multi-team engineering decisions.
