Learning Analytics / Data Consultant

The successful consultant will work with academic, digital learning, and IT teams to assess current capabilities and propose a practical plan for leveraging data more effectively across the institution., * Map key institutional systems containing learning and operational data

• Audit available data across platforms such as LMS, student systems, and reporting tools
• Assess data quality, accessibility, and integration points
• Identify learning engagement and performance metrics currently available
• Evaluate existing reporting capabilities and dashboards
• Recommend improvements to learning analytics capabilities
• Propose a practical data strategy and implementation roadmap

• Experience working with data or analytics within Higher Education
• Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (preferably Canvas)
• Experience designing dashboards or reporting frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Technical Skills

• Power BI or Tableau
• SQL
• Python (desirable)
• Data integration / ETL tools (desirable)
