Are you a Civil or Structural Engineering graduate with an understanding of steel structures, looking to take your first step into industry with a company that offers strong training and development? This is a great opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team, where you will gain hands-on experience and develop your technical skills while working on a range of interesting engineering projects. The company are well established within their sector, delivering specialist solutions across the construction industry and working on a variety of high profile projects. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to bring in a Graduate Engineer to strengthen their team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in structural or steel design and be motivated to build a long term career within engineering. The Role:
- Design of steel structures / equipment (using AutoCAD)
- Finite element analysis and calculations
- Working within a small and highly experienced team
- Monday to Friday, office based role
The Person:
- Civil or Structural Engineering graduate (or graduating this year - min 2:1)
- Must have knowledge of structural steel, or have had a focus on it before
- Experience with CAD
- Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA)
- Good IT skills
