Job description
As a Senior Oracle CX DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the support, optimisation, and continuous development of SSE's business-critical Oracle Hosted CRM/CX platforms, with a particular focus on OSvC and Customer Data Management (CDM).
Working within an Agile environment, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will drive DevOps best practices across the Oracle CX ecosystem, enabling efficient CI/CD processes, automation, and operational excellence across both project delivery and BAU support.
You will act as a technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing architectural decisions, and ensuring alignment with SSE standards and governance., * Take ownership of the technical support, stability, and ongoing improvement of SSE's Oracle Hosted CRM/CX platforms, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations.
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable end-to-end solutions across the Oracle CX stack, while leading the implementation of DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex issues, implement effective solutions, and continually drive system improvements.
- Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.
- Support and optimise integrations between Oracle CX and enterprise systems, and contribute to automation initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational performance.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Release management?, * Extensive commercial experience delivering and supporting Oracle Hosted CRM/CX solutions, especially OSvC and CDM, from design through to deployment and ongoing support.
- Strong track record in DevOps-driven environments, with a deep understanding of CI/CD, release management, and environment strategies.
- Hands-on expertise in Oracle CX tooling, customisation, integration (APIs, web services, automation), and supporting business-critical systems for medium to large organisations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, including code reviews, mentoring, and championing engineering best practices.
- Demonstrates a proactive, problem-solving mindset with adaptability, resilience, and a strong commitment to Agile delivery and continuous improvement.
