Job description
As a Graduate Geospatial Analyst your role will be to provide mapping and analysis support to the Senior Geospatial & Data Solution group and wide variety of Technical Disciplines within the Europe Region. The role will include: Georeferencing and digitising map data Creating maps/drawings for reports and Environmental Impact Assessments / Sequential Assessments / Discharge of Condition Reports Capturing, managing, and analysing data in GIS from multiple sources and in a variety of formats Preparing field maps for surveys Preparation and maintenance of data in ArcGIS Online Environments Working with the rest of the team to deliver projects to tight deadlines and budgets Adhering to QA process and standard for data management and drawing outputs Contribution to the smooth operation of the GIS team through active participation in team resource calls, supervision systems and knowledge sharing, Along with competitive salaries, our staff enjoy a comprehensive benefits package with a company pension plus excellent healthcare offering, travel and life insurance and a structured career framework with regular reviews offering outstanding opportunities for progression. Requirements
You will be a recent Graduate or about to complete an accredited GIS based degree and demonstrate the following: Proficient in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Pro and software extensions such as 3D & Spatial Analyst Working knowledge of geodatabases. Working knowledge of Model Builder and/or Python advantageous Experience of using ArcGIS Online Conscientious worker with the ability to deliver to a consistent high standard with a keen eye for detail Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and build strong relationships throughout the business Good organisational skills with a proven ability to work to deadlines
