Job description

This is a new role created to support the ICS Supervisor, due our growing business and expanding work load.

This hands-on role will span the entire product life cycle from policy creation through to third party supplier management and will be key to establishing and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key activities/main duties:

To support the ICS Supervisor in the day-to-day activities of scheme implementation, compliance and system development. Assisting in the co-ordination of sales, underwriting and claims functions to fully support our business in line with the expectations of all stakeholders - insurers, clients and shareholders.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role will be within Scheme Implementation, but also to support other members of the ICS team with Compliance and Systems Co-ordination when required.

Scheme Implementation:

A large part of the role will involve creating and maintaining client's online scheme booklets, which will include:

  • Creating the wording to be included in online booklets
  • Liaising with our internal developers to create the online booklet
  • Liaising with HHS sales to keep them updated on the progress of their client's online booklet
  • Ensure online booklets are completed on time

Other duties: Process monthly renewals, set up new wins on CMS, create policy wording, perform credit and sanction checks on all clients, keep system templates and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) updated, liaise with our third party distributers and provide additional membership support. Working closely with, and supporting HHS Sales and Underwriting with the implementation of their processes.

Compliance administration: assisting with 121 and appraisal management, CPD (Continued Professional Development) recording, arranging training, ordering CII (Chartered Institute of Insurance) books and arranging CII exams and assisting with the management of agency agreements and TOBA's (Terms of Business Agreement).

  • Assist with other ad hoc duties such as Trustee management and ad hoc membership reporting.
  • Ensure confidentiality of affairs.
  • Support business activities and objectives.
  • Undertake any other duties, as reasonably required by the ICS Supervisor and ICS Manager.

Requirements

  • A knowledge of PMI/Trust or PMI operations, claims or underwriting experience would be an advantage but not necessary.
  • A understanding insurance claims and underwriting would be helpful
  • Ability to work on their own
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong technical, computer skills, fully competent with Excel
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Vibrant, with a can do attitude.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multitask
