NET Developer

Location: Remote with 2 days per month required on-site in Dungannon Salary: c. £40,000 (dependent on experience) Employment: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

My client is seeking a talented .NET Developer to join our growing technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around three years' experience who is looking to work on meaningful projects within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

You'll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our internal systems and applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that support our business operations.

This role offers a high degree of flexibility, with remote working as standard and only two on-site days per month required at our Dungannon HQ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance .NET applications in line with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, and Product to deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best-practice standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Support the delivery of new features, upgrades, and integrations within existing systems.
  • Assist in the transition of legacy systems to modern architectures where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Approximately 3+ years' experience working as a .NET Developer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core and related frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, or service-oriented architecture.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS (advantageous).
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely.
