Job description

As a Digital Workplace Platform Administrator (f/m/x) at Sysmex Europe SE, you will help design, administer, and continuously improve our Microsoft 365-based digital workplace environment. In this role, you will ensure that employees can work productively and securely from any location while contributing to a seamless and modern digital experience across the organisation. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, optimising, and managing the lifecycle of Sysmex's Microsoft 365 digital workplace ecosystem
  • Overseeing and maintaining the Microsoft Windows client operating system environment across the organisation
  • Administering and supporting core Microsoft 365 services such as Intune, Exchange/Outlook, Teams (including Teams UC), OneDrive, SharePoint, Defender, and related applications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft 365 services, applications, and integrations
  • Managing and securing corporate devices, including smartphones, through Microsoft Intune while ensuring compliance with internal policies
  • Packaging, testing, and deploying client applications using Microsoft Intune to ensure reliable software delivery
  • Coordinating and executing operating system and application updates and patching using standard Sysmex tools such as Microsoft Intune and Ninja-One
  • Monitoring system performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending enhancements
  • Generating and analysing reports on system performance, security posture, and usage trends
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT colleagues, particularly in areas related to Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
  • Collaborating closely with other IT teams to support broader infrastructure initiatives and cross-functional projects

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, You are a strong match for this role if you bring solid experience in Microsoft-based workplace environments and enjoy improving digital tools that enable employees to work efficiently and securely. Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and strengths:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a corporate IT environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 services (e.g. Intune, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender)
  • Good knowledge of Entra ID and Active Directory
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks
  • Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Ninja-One is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical issues
  • Good communication skills and the ability to support and train IT colleagues
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Experience analysing business requirements and contributing to IT solution design
  • Ability to coordinate or contribute to IT projects in cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English
