Senior Backend Developer

Design and develop backend services using Python

Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform

Develop and operate cloud-native solutions on GCP (Google Cloud Platform)

Work with relational databases (design, optimization, query tuning)

Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processes

Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders

Ensure compliance with banking security and regulatory standards

Support production systems and participate in incident analysis when needed

Do you have experience in Terraform?, We are looking for a strong Python Developer with database expertise to join a banking project. The role focuses on backend development, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based solutions within a regulated financial environment.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on development skills with solid database knowledge and understands the quality, security, and compliance standards required in enterprise banking systems.

Most Important: Python, Terraform, GCP A plus is if: great SQL skills, experience with API Based Customer Search services/backends German language (nice, but not needed), Must have

Strong experience with Python (backend development, APIs, services)

Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

Practical experience with GCP

Solid understanding of database systems and data modeling

Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments

Understanding of secure coding practices

Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, performance tuning)

Experience with API-based Customer Search services or similar backend systems

Knowledge of RESTful API design principles

Experience with monitoring/logging tools

Experience in banking or financial services domain
