Job description
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for quantum and hybrid (quantum-classical) applications.
- Automate deployment of quantum workloads across cloud-based quantum providers and on-premise simulators.
- Integrate quantum SDKs (eg, Qiskit, Cirq, Braket, Q#, PennyLane) into development workflows.
- Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for quantum simulation environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance optimisation for quantum compute jobs.
- Ensure security, compliance, and reproducibility of quantum development processes.
- Collaborate with quantum researchers, software engineers, and infrastructure teams.
- Support versioning, testing, and validation of quantum algorithms and hybrid pipelines.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible) for quantum environments.
Requirements
- Strong DevOps background (CI/CD, automation, cloud infrastructure).
- Experience with Python and at least one quantum SDK (Qiskit, Cirq, Braket, Q#, PennyLane).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and quantum cloud services.
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
- Understanding of quantum computing concepts (gates, circuits, hybrid workflows).
- Strong debugging, optimisation, and systems-thinking mindset.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in research and engineering.
