Head of Identity & Access Management

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our team on a permanent basis. You'll lead and manage all aspects of identity governance and access management, ensuring that our systems and processes for access control, user authentication, and identity management are not only secure and compliant but also scalable to meet the demands of our business.

As Head of IAM, reporting into the Security Operations Manager, you'll have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and a proven track record in driving IAM strategy, while overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring alignment with our broader IT and cybersecurity objectives.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you'll be doing:

• Defining and implementing the IAM strategy in alignment in alignment with the company's security framework, compliance requirements and business objectives.
• Leading, mentoring and developing a high performing IAM team ensuring collaboration on-shore and off-shore.
• You'll oversee the management and execution of operational IAM processes, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC) and single sign-on (SSO).
• Identifying and mitigating identity-related risks, ensuring that IAM solutions protect sensitive financial data and systems from unauthorised access, while balancing operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with the incident response team to address and remediate access control breaches or identity-related security incidents.
• Ensuring that IAM processes support regulatory and audit requirements, driving audit readiness and remediation efforts, as necessary.
• Overseeing the operation of the key IAM technologies, including the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform Saviynt used to support IAM operations.

• Previous experience managing IAM teams, as well as leading IAM projects or programs is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) would be preferred.
• Proven experience in Identity and Access Management within the financial Services sector is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge and understanding of IAM tools, technologies and protocols, such as Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID etc. As well as IGA tooling ideally Saviynt.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in successfully managing multi location and offshore teams.
