The Opportunity
As a Front-End Developer, you'll play a key role in building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for secure government and defence systems. You'll collaborate with designers, back-end developers, UX specialists, and client teams to deliver innovative digital services that combine the latest technology with the unique requirements of Defence environments.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who's passionate about modern web development, user experience, and crafting elegant, reliable front-end solutions., * Develop high-quality, responsive, and accessible web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build interactive, user-focused front ends using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or js.
- Collaborate closely with designers and UX experts to translate wireframes and prototypes into production-ready code.
- Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Work with back-end teams to integrate front-end functionality with APIs and data sources.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and peer code reviews to ensure clean, maintainable code.
- Stay current with front-end trends, tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve delivery practices.

Requirements
You're an experienced Front-End Developer who takes pride in writing clean, efficient code and delivering exceptional user experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, value attention to detail, and enjoy solving complex challenges with creativity and precision.
You should have:
- Active UK Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance.
- Proven experience developing responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and front-end build tools such as Webpack or Gulp.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
