Job description

RED is seeking an experienced .NET Developer on behalf of our client based in London for an initial 6-month contract to support a project with demanding technical requirements. This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring 3 days per week onsite, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately., * Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core

Build and support scalable Back End services and APIs
Design and implement solutions within AWS cloud environments
Contribute to distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
Design, develop, and optimize database structures, queries, and transactions
Diagnose and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues across applications and databases
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver robust solutions
Participate in code reviews, testing, and best practice implementation
Support architecture and technical design discussions

Requirements

This position requires strong hands-on expertise in .NET development, combined with solid experience across AWS, distributed systems, and databases. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on complex Back End systems and delivering reliable, scalable, production-grade solutions., * Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core

Proven experience building enterprise Back End applications
Solid hands-on experience with AWS
Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and resilience
Strong database experience, including schema design, SQL, optimization, and troubleshooting
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiarity with microservices and integration patterns
Experience with source control, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
