AWS Solutions Architect, Technology and Transformation

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end AWS cloud solutions that align with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs, specifically leveraging AWS services.
• Evaluate and select appropriate AWS technology platforms, frameworks, and tools to support solution development.
• Define solution architecture, including system components, interfaces, AWS infrastructure, data modelling, and integration patterns, at conceptual and physical views.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices for AWS implementations.
• Conduct architecture reviews and perform technical assessments to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines, AWS best practices, and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the AWS solution development lifecycle.

• Certifications: Professional level certified (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional) is essential
• Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation) and experience with architectural patterns for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Consulting Experience: Prior experience in a consulting role, working with diverse clients and project scopes across multiple industries.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying complex issues and developing practical, effective solutions.
• Leadership: Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and drive architectural decisions.
• Experience: Proven experience in IT architecture, specifically focused on AWS cloud solutions.
