PHP Developer

Pearson Carter are currently working with a growing start-up company who provide a platform to allow small local shops and grocery stores to serve customers online. Responsibilities:

• Extending API's for the App Development team
• Developing new features and API's in Laravel
• Working on unit tests as well as wider performance optimisation
• Maintenance of legacy code base (bespoke PHP)
• Integrating platform with third parties (e.g. EPOS and payment gateways)
• Performing code reviews and supporting less experienced devs
• Supporting with the planning of more complex projects

• Extensive experience developing with PHP and Laravel
• Experienced working as a Senior Developer
• Previous experience working for a start-up company
• Strong working knowledge of AWS
• Frontend development knowledge and experience of JavaScript and React will be hugely beneficial

They offer an excellent salary package: up to £70,000 depending on experience multiple potential bonuses, including potential shares in company!
