Please note that the Combined Authority will consider requests for part-time working and/or job share. We currently have a vacancy for a Web Advisor to join our Digital team. We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Web Advisor to support the delivery of a website redevelopment project and the ongoing development of our current websites. You will play a key role in coordinating the website redevelopment project, while also supporting day-to-day website management and content development, ensuring our digital content meets high standards for accessibility, usability and SEO. Working closely with project leads, colleagues across the organisation and external suppliers, you will help ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. This role offers our new Web Advisor the opportunity to develop project management skills whilst contributing to accessible, user-focused digital services., Reporting into the Web and Digital Media Officer, your key responsibilities will include: · Supporting the project management and delivery of the website redevelopment project, monitoring milestones, risks, budgets and dependencies and escalating issues where required. · Coordinating website redevelopment project activity, working with project leads, internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure objectives are met on time and to quality standards. · Supporting day-to-day website management and content development using a content management system (CMS), including building pages and templates, approving content updates and managing user access. Requirements
You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience: · Demonstrable understanding of digital marketing, web content development and communications. · Experience using a content management system (CMS) to build and manage webpages. · Working knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation or Agile principles) and experience supporting digital or communications projects. · Experience of coordinating work across teams and/or managing external suppliers to deliver defined project outcomes. · Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to analyse project information, produce progress updates and build effective working relationships across an organisation.
