Power BI Developer

Remote with travel 1 day per week to Birmingham I'm working with a client undergoing a significant business transformation and developing Data Services within AWS. They're seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in working with stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, impactful visual dashboards and reports. This role involves:

• Gathering requirements and engaging with stakeholders
• Designing, developing, and deploying Power BI solutions
• Unlocking the full potential of data to drive strategic insights and support business growth

To be successful in this role, you must have experience with AWS, SQL, and proven expertise in building effective Power BI dashboards., * Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist

• Proficiency with enterprise reporting/dashboarding in Power BI
• Proven experience with AWS
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
• RDBMS (SQL, MySQL) experience
• Automation experience with builds, deployments, testing and configuration
• Must have business analysis skills to allow for the creation of report definitions and specifications. Perform entire development lifecycle requirement, analysis, design, build, test, deploy and support analytic applications, tools and components using Microsoft BI Reporting and Analysis Tools and other BI, data discovery, analytic and statistical packages
