The Front-End Developer is responsible for delivering high-quality user interface components across the Webexpenses product suite. This includes contributing to the redevelopment of the native mobile solution using React Native and supporting the modernisation of the core WebUI using React. The role requires close collaboration with the Team Lead, Product Designer, and senior members of the development team to ensure consistent delivery of well-structured, maintainable, and scalable front-end features., Delivery & Technical Contribution *
- Implement front-end components using React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Translate designs and prototypes (primarily from Figma) into production-ready user interfaces.
- Contribute to the redesign and rebuild of the mobile application and the core UI.
- Write secure, maintainable, and testable code following internal coding standards.
- Use AI tooling (e.g., Claude, IntelliJ Junie, or equivalent) to enhance development speed, code consistency, and productivity.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, The position also requires effective use of AI-assisted development tools and the ability to operate effectively under time pressure when priorities demand., + Experience of mobile app development.
- Strong working experience with React and/or React Native in a production environment.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience working with component-based front-end architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage workload during peak periods.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day engineering workflow
