Hardware Engineer

• Electronic hardware design from concept to production
• Schematic capture and multi-layer PCB design (2-8 layers, mixed-signal)
• Design using MCU/MPU, RF systems, DC-DC & AC-DC power, analog and digital circuitry, FPGA and memory devices
• Hardware validation, testing and debugging using lab equipment
• Board bring-up and production support
• Apply DFT, DFM, DFP and Design for Compliance (DfC) principles
• Produce clear technical documentation
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers

This is a hands-on role suited to a mid-senior engineer (4+ years' experience) who enjoys taking ownership of complex electronic hardware designs and working directly with customers., + Minimum 4 years' experience in hardware / electronics design

• Strong experience in PCB design and schematic capture
• Hands-on experience in hardware testing and debugging
• Experience delivering full product lifecycle development
• Familiarity with mixed-signal embedded systems and IoT-style architectures
• Experience with Altium Designer (preferred) or other eCAD tools such as Eagle, KiCAD, Fusion or PADS
• Previous customer-facing or consultancy experience desirable
