Job description

Senior Cyber Security Analyst with a AWS cloud background is required to join our global client's new UK cybersecurity team. This role is predominantly end-client facing, advising on security best practices, vulnerability management and security standard compliance (e.g. NIST, ISO, PCI DSS etc), and leading audits and examinations. You will be reporting to the UK Head of Security and consulting global clients across the American and EMEA regions., * Analysing and developing security requirements, as well as carrying out vulnerability management & compliance work in PCI DSS type projects

  • Ensure consistency across IT Security risk management activities.
  • Advise Engineers on information related to new vulnerabilities and threats and their remediation, to improve vulnerability management.
  • Providing ongoing security training and support both in-house and externally, advising customers on security requirements and best practices

The client is looking to pay a starting salary of up to £65k, depending on experience. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working in Cyber Security within an AWS cloud environment
  • Any experience with CrowdStrike would be a bonus
  • Vulnerability management & Compliance
  • Strong Security standard knowledge and experience, consulting on a range of security policies and standards such as GDPR, ISO, PCI, NIST
  • Confidence when speaking with stakeholders and clients, as well as the ability to provide training and mentoring around cybersecurity
  • Ideally, some relevant cybersecurity certifications

This role is mostly onsite in their Central Manchester office - you must be willing and able to attend the office 3 / 4 days a week in their brand-new UK headquarters. You will be working in a vibrant office with some of most forward-thinking technical people
