Job description

Responsible for the design and development of multiple Vodafone security platforms to automate the monitoring, detection and reporting of network device compliance against Vodafone Cyber security policies. The role ensures security standards are implemented consistently across Vodafone's global technology infrastructure. Leadership and Teamwork Works closely with the Cyber Prevent Domain Leadership team, Cyber Security Platform Managers, Secure by Design (SBD) teams and globally distributed Cyber Security teams to ensure platforms are globally consistent, operationally effective and delivering measurable risk reduction. Innovation and Change Designs and develops in-house security tooling to replace manual verification of network device compliance. Drives automation and innovation in cyber security platform capabilities to improve efficiency, coverage and risk reduction across Vodafone's network estate. Customers, Suppliers and Third Parties Engages with central Technology teams, global Cyber Security teams and other stakeholders to ensure the Device Operational Assurance platform meets operational requirements and supports Vodafone's broader cyber security strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Container Security, Cloud Security (AWS, Azure), API Security, opensource security.
  • Expert in vulnerability remediation within developer toolsets and environments such as GitHub.
  • Good understanding of automation tooling such as PowerAutomate and PowerBI and work tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Excellent communication capabilities to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex technical scenarios.
  • Graduate/Apprenticeship/Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a relevant field e.g., IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, Telecoms or relevant working experience.
